About Us

The Patrician Society represent alumni interests and concerns to both the school and to the De La Salle Brothers.

We seek to make available to members the network of talent, knowledge and viewpoints of Patrician alumus to build bridges amongst the School, the Brothers and the alumni; through our committees, activities and events.

Our Society’s Heritage

In May 1949, the St Patrick’s School Old Boys Association was formed, with many old boys joining and participating in the various activities organised.

The Founding of the Society by the late Bro. Joseph McNally

Bro. Joseph McNally realised the need to revive the OBA and began to lay the foundations of our RoS registered alumni society back in 1976, The Patrician Society, by inviting the Head Prefects of nearly twenty plus cohorts to understand the need for this.

Sustaining the Society … From 1978 to Date

The first President was Mr George Bogaars with many of the teaching staff being our first members. Sustaining the society has been a challenge, and in 1996 there was re-launch with BG George Yeo as our Patron. The Society to date has always been a partner with the School and with the Brothers, fostering the links that bind.

In memory of our late Alumni member, Felix Tie, who has dedicated his time and effort in creating and managing the website that was launched in 2015.
